“Our aim is to supply customers with environmentally friendly green furniture made of reclaimed wood
from disassembled old houses, accomplished with some of the best hardware, fixtures, glues and finishing materials as available. ”
Cannisse Jati established in 1997 at Jepara the center of Indonesia furniture industries. In the early years of establishment the company supplying unfinished teak wood furniture
to several furniture exporter companies in Bali and Jakarta. In 2002, the company has managed to built manufacturing co-operation with several craftsmen in jepara, and decide
to export mahogany antique reproduction furniture and teak furniture to some customers in Europe and the Caribbean.
In 2005, along with the increasing of market demand for environmentally friendly furniture, and also the desire of the company to be involved in the green movement,
the management decided to change the type of products that will be offered to customer. All product types that use timber are stopped, some collections such as antique
reproductions, teak patio furniture is no longer offered to customers.
Since then, Cannisse jati only manufactures modern and contemporary furniture using reclaimed wood from abandoned houses, bridges, railway sleepers, and barns.
Also manufactures furniture made of driftwood that salvaged from the beach and river. Several types of reclaimed wood that we use to built our furniture products such
as teak, jackfruit, sengon, merbau, and bengkirai. Each wood presents a different grains and beauty, with one thing in common "Environmentally Friendly".
